SKELETONS: MUSEUM OF OSTEOLGY
This will always be a highlight of my career. I was the creative for the Museum and its mother company Skulls Unlimited. I had the great responsiblity to not only help expand the marketing to a wider audience but I redeveloped how the museum documented each specimen. I was awarded best display design by the American Alliance of Museums. I created billboards and merchandise. All while learning more about the animal kingdom through the skelatal system.
Launched a new marketing campaign that increased ticket sales to the Museum. The campaign included print ads, web ads, billboards, and merchandise. During this period redesigned museum exhibits to give new life to the 7-year-old museum to attract and excite returning customers.
Upgraded product photography to help showcase the fine quality of work that was being produced by its sister company Skulls Unlimited.
DANDY LION
Serving as Creative Director at Dandy Lion was an incredible experience. Dandy Lion's brand identity was inspired by jazz and the interiors of men's cocktail blazers. The branding and packaging of Dandy Lion reflect the quality and sophistication of its high-quality medical marijuana products. In a market that is highly competitive and saturated, this multi-award-winning product catches the attention of consumers.
OKLAHOMA GAZette
As Creative Director of the Oklahoma Gazette I was hired to revamp the 40-year-old weekly publication along with an additional monthly publication called Extract Magazine. As part of my work with the editorial and sales teams, I focused on bringing new and exciting layouts and content.
We went on hiatus as the world came to a halt due to the pandemic. Having been on hold for six months, we have returned to bi-weekly publishing with a new publisher and a bare-bones staff. Including myself, the editor-in-chief, the publisher, and the sales team. Despite budget cuts, pandemic politics, and other obstacles, we kept going. Per its cover story, every week had a new look and stylization.
